Tucked away in the heart of Guildford Surrey, Soulspace offers a unique blend of tranquility, creativity, and community. Described as an independent members club and co-working space with community at its heart.
During our recent visit, we had the pleasure of exploring this beautifully presented venue, which stands out as a distinctive new place for people to work, gather, grow and embodies a synergetic relationship that fosters collaboration within the local community. The space itself is thoughtfully designed, with calming colours, natural elements, and a welcoming atmosphere that encourages guests to relax and be present.
Soulspace was founded by the Mein’s sisters as part of their initiative to deliver The Boathouse Project, creating and managing the various spaces inside it. The space is set in an award-winning building, Raw Clay, a hidden spot upon Guildford’s River Wey”. Located at the bottom of Guildford high street, the former 1960’s Boat House has been meticulously reimagined by the Meins family and now provides the perfect location for meeting friends and enjoying alfresco, riverside dining.

Soulspace offers a variety of memberships options, designed to create a flexible and inspiring environment to support both your work and lifestyle. Whether you’re looking for a permanent desk, occasional hot-desking, or a membership that accommodates your employees’ new hybrid-working style, the venue has a solution tailored to your needs. In addition, the memberships provide the perfect opportunity to connect with a vibrant and supportive community, fostering both professional growth and personal connections.
At the core of the establishment, the community, growth, and purpose is prioritised, providing members with an antidote to a disconnected, divided, and insincere world.
The family deeply values the larger space, the surrounding environment, and the planet as a whole, demonstrating their commitment to being considerate.
Soulspace sits alongside The Boathouse, Guildford.
