This year’s Christmas panto at Richmond Theatre is Cinderella, rightly named the Fairy Godmother of all pantos.
Our Editor Marja-Leena’s verdict: “What an absolute ball we had at the show! Cinderella is a fresh take on this classic panto. Perfect for all ages with brilliant music and humour that had the entire audience participating and in giggles throughout the evening.
It is brilliantly cast with Anton Du Beke as Buttons, cheeky and very entertaining, and he can sing as well as dance. Rosemary Ashe has plenty of opportunity to use her beautiful singing voice too, as the Fairy Godmother and so does Oonagh Cox who’s perfect as the lovely Cinderella. The entire cast from Edward Chitticks as Prince Charming to the fantastic dancers was outstanding. Great credit goes to the amazing costumes and clever lighting that transforms the stage to multiple sets.”
Book your tickets early to avoid disappointment! Runs from 3 December until 2 January.
