The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) electrified London Fashion Week AW25 with Fashion Hong Kong, an avant-garde showcase of innovation, sustainability and craftsmanship.

Held at Protein Studios in Shoreditch on 20 February, the runway event spotlighted the labels of four visionary Hong Kong designers – Angus Tsui, Bettie Jiang, Rickyy Wong and Nathan Moy – underscoring Hong Kong’s influence as a global fashion hub.

The show presented 12 looks per designer, blending futuristic aesthetics, sustainable innovation, and cultural storytelling.

Runway Highlights

Angus Tsui (label: ANGUS TSUI) – “GIGER”

Renowned for his futuristic approach to sustainable fashion, Angus Tsui presented GIGER, an homage to legendary Swiss artist HR Giger.

Tsui’s exoskeleton-like silhouettes fused upcycled knitwear, vegan leather, and sustainable denim, delivering a bold vision of ethical futurism and innovative craftsmanship.

Bettie Jiang (label: Bettie Haute Couture) – “Bauhaus Reverie: Contemporary Elegance”

Blending British tailoring with Bauhaus-inspired minimalism, Bettie Haute Couture embraced zero-waste pattern-cutting and ethical sourcing. Standout pieces included a structured trench coat and gender-neutral knitwear, crafted from recycled wool, organic cotton, and premium sustainable fabrics.

The collection exuded modern sophistication while reinforcing the brand’s commitment to eco-conscious couture.

Rickyy Wong (label: RICKYYWONG) – “ODYSSEY”

Rickyy Wong’s ODYSSEY collection celebrated the energy of urban life and cultural fusion, featuring waxed cotton, luxurious alpaca wool, and zero-waste tailoring.

His bold bomber jackets and modern blazers balanced precision craftsmanship with casual wearability, reflecting the dynamism of contemporary city life.
