Critically acclaimed restaurant Artusi, are expanding to a third location in a partnership with Underbelly Boulevard Soho. The celebrated restaurant which currently has two locations in Peckham and a sister restaurant Marcella in Deptford will bring the Artusi experience to one of London’s most iconic venues. 

Artusi’s unfussy, seasonal dishes and Italian wines will delight visitors at Underbelly Boulevard Soho. The simple menu, which sees changes throughout the week, reflects the best possible seasonal produce available, and always features pasta made that day. Artusi Soho is located on the first floor of Underbelly Boulevard and open to everyone – you don’t need a ticket to a show to eat at the restaurant.

The restaurant opened on Friday November 1st and guests can make reservations via Seven Rooms.

Tuesday to Saturday between 5pm and 7pm Artusi Soho will be offering a pre-theatre menu, 2 courses for £25 or 3 courses for £30. The perfect place to dine before heading upstairs to the show.

Described by internationally renowned food critic, Jay Rayner as “fresh”, “buzzy” and “brilliant”, and regularly topping Time Out’s ‘top Italian restaurants’ charts, this partnership will further cement Underbelly Boulevard Soho as the place to be.

Founder and Head Chef Jack Beer shared their excitement about the expansion: “We’re thrilled to be opening Artusi Soho at Underbelly Boulevard. Underbelly Boulevard Soho is open to everyone and it’s the perfect creative workspace in the heart of Soho. Open every day from 12pm Tuesday to Sunday, you can join for a show, a drink, some food or for the co-working space during the day. Set up for everything including corporate lunch meetings, with the atmosphere Underbelly are famous for. 

The latest programme from Underbelly Boulevard Soho promises the very best of comedy, dance, live arts, theatre and music. Joining Asi Wind who is currently blowing audiences away with his brand-new show Incredibly Human, further shows on offer include, Diane Chorley’s Ding Dong Merrily DianeGary Starr’s Classic Penguins and a variety of family friendly events in the Kids Do Soho programme.

Underbelly is a UK-based live entertainment company founded in 2000 by Ed Bartlam and Charlie  Wood that specialises in producing and programming ground-breaking theatrical productions and  the creation of city-centre cultural events and festivals across the UK, USA, Asia & beyond.

One of the largest producers at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Underbelly is proud to have  previously presented Fleabag in 2013, Six in 2018, Rob Madge’s My Son’s a Queer, (But What Can  You Do?) in 2022 and Kathy & Stella Solve a Murder in 2023.

About Artusi

Artusi opened in March 2014, with Marcella following 3 years later in 2017. Both restaurants opened to excellent reviews from critics and customers alike. For over 10 years now the restaurant has been providing good value, high quality Italian inspired cuisine to their customers in south London.

Menus are changed daily and have a hyper-seasonal approach to cooking. Artusi also sources the best ingredients they can, making everything in house and from scratch, including fresh sourdough, pasta, and homemade ricotta.

The menus at Artusi and Marcella are concise, but there’s always something for everyone, and it’ll always be different every time.
