Treating yourself to the ultimate pampering experience is a luxury worth investing in. I had booked just an hour with Sam at the Bee & Beauty salon in Richmond upon Thames. I wanted to see what can be done in that short time that will still leave me feeling relaxed and revitalised, and also give my tired looking face a little lift.

Sam had just the right suggestion or tackling my brows first with a much needed tint and shape. It had been a while since I have had my brows threaded and shaped by a professional and boy, what a difference a skilled ‘threader’ makes. I was really pleased with the colour and shape, even though I didn’t have that much to work with, thanks to over plugging my browns in my youth.
Brows done, we had around 45 minutes left, which was perfect for a back, neck and head massage. Sam specialises in feel-good massage that will leave her clients feeling relaxed and revitalised. She did work on the knots on my shoulders, mid-back and neck too, caused by too much desk work. The 45 minutes flew by and I enjoyed every second of the massage. The session finished with head massage. The surface of our head has a lot of small muscles with sensory nerve that send signals to the brain stimulating brain function. This is believed to improve attention span, memory, and our cognitive functions.
Massages are one of those things that you really appreciate during it and usually still days afterwards too.
