A lover of cats, clothes & collage, Kate Winskill conceived the Catwoman series which encompasses original and found vintage photography to create surreal and arresting images . The original photographs were of a friend“s cat, remodelled into the head of a girl from a 1950s US magazine. In this print, the Cat woman is styled in US western garb and juxtaposed with an image from a 60s paper sewing pattern.
Kate also uses shots from fashion shoots of models Lily Bailey and Sarah Lamptey featuring Kate”s clothing collections 2016-2018, as well as Graffiti backgrounds from worldwide trips – pre-Covid!
