“I had a hectic career as an interior decorator and a clothes designer, but when I divorced 15 years ago I decided to back myself as a florist. I started off in my home and then grew to opening the shop in Claygate where we are now, and decided to supply the best in artificial flowers. I’ve always been creative and I thought there was a gap in the market to bring a fresh approach to artificial flowers and greenery. We offer a very personal service and create things by hand at our showroom. We work a lot with people’s interiors. It doesn’t matter whether it’s winter or summer, I always start with a mood board of inspirational photos, colours and textures. I choose a palette of colours, the theme and stick to it throughout the house. Try it, it works.
At RTfact we are passionate about what we do and our results speak for themselves. We don’t just want our clients to like what we do but to love it!
It’s been a whirlwind journey so far but with nearly two decades of running RT Fact I can confidently say, I still have as much passion for what I do now, as the day I started.
