The Art Agency was launched by Emma Riley and Alison Ramsay as a pop up gallery and opened on Esher High Street in October 2011. Due to an increasingly wide portfolio of artists we moved to larger premises at 118-120 High Street, Esher in August 2015.
“We generally show a mixed collection from several featured artists exhibiting original artwork, sculpture and ceramics from an exciting portfolio of contemporary artists in a variety of mediums and price ranges to suit most tastes and budgets.
The Art Agency tries to always have a few key pieces in from our most popular and commercially successful artists, but if you don’t find what you are looking for we can usually get more in from the artist’s studio to show you – please do ask us. We think choosing the artwork right for you should be about the emotional response you get when looking at a piece. There is no right or wrong decision just the one that makes you want to keep looking.
Our aim is to provide a friendly, but first class service to all our customers, whether they are first time visitors or regular clients. We are happy to visit your home and provide a consultation service free of charge and we offer a ‘Try Before you Buy’ service which has proved extremely popular. We also offer other targeted services such as framing, hanging, art finders, gift lists, corporate sales and commissions.

We host regular ‘Meet the Artists’ events at the gallery as well as artist led workshops and we also attend the Bristol and Battersea Affordable Art Fairs.

GIFT VOUCHERS
Buying art as a gift is an extremely thoughtful and personal gift.
Gift List
We offer the opportunity for clients to open a gift list for a special birthday, wedding or anniversary or simply to purchase gift vouchers. In this way you can give an imaginative and enduring gift of their choice. We would be very happy to meet recipients and provide assistance with their choice or arrange a bespoke commission.Gift vouchers are available in any denomination from £10 upwards and can be purchased in the gallery or over the telephone. There is no time limit on using the vouchers so the recipient can choose their piece of art at their leisure.
COMMISSION A PIECE OF ART
Many of our artists are happy to accept a commission for a painting to an individual brief. In some instances this can even be created without obligation.
Please ask us about an artist and we can advise what is possible to fit your brief.

FRAMING
We are also really pleased to partner with specialist framer and be able to offer a bespoke framing service at competitive prices up to conservation level as standard but we are also able to complete work to museum standard when appropriate. We have a wide range of mouldings, mounts and glass available to frame your paintings, drawings, photographs plus a wide variety of memorabilia from sports shirts to books and even shoes. We can also arrange to stretch canvasses.In addition we can arrange a professional picture hanging service at an hourly rate.
