Barnes Charity Fashion Week will run from 10th to 17th October!

The legendary Barnes Charity Fashion Show will not able to go ahead this year due to the Covid-19 restrictions, instead the team behind this incredibly successful event will be launching the Barnes Charity Fashion Week between 10th October and 17th October.

“We need your support for our fabulous boutiques and for our valued charities at a time that has been especially challenging for them.

During Barnes Charity Fashion Week there will be social media activities, special offers in all the participating shops, and exclusive fashion discounts in Barnes. Our local celebrity patrons Kate Silverton, Deborah James and Sophie Stanbury will be promoting the event and visiting the shops during the fashion week. We are also grateful to Onside Law and the Fashionistas Circle members for supporting the week’s activities.

Also launching the Barnes Fashion Trail

Step out to help out, which is supported by Richmond-upon-Thames Council.  Download the map from www.barnescharityfashionshow.com and enjoy visiting all the best fashion designs that Barnes high street has to offer.  Boutiques featured include Iris, Ridley & Co, Clifford Studios, Marco Tripoli, the Clothesroom, Bazar, Dilli Grey, Editor@37 as well as Schuberts Footwear, Georgina Skan, Joaquina Pereira, Oh Darling! Anne Gretton, Gerry Summers, MCA Design Jewellery, the Sewing Room, Focal Point and Barnes Nineteen.  Whenever you make a purchase during the fashion week from one of the participating shops then you can enter the prize draw for premium tickets to next year’s Barnes Charity Fashion Show.

You will also be supporting our local charities FiSH and Friends of St Mary’s Church Barnes, which have been so important to many parishioners in Barnes during the pandemic restrictions. Go to JustGiving “Barnes Fashion for Charities” justgiving.com/campaign/barnesfashionforcharities and donate what you can.  £10 would be ideal, but you may want to consider donating the normal ticket price of £25 and even the £7 cost for a glass of Prosecco. Enjoy a glass of Prosecco yourself at home to celebrate the great fashion designs that we have in our Barnes boutiques. Though we’ve had to skip the after party in Kitson Hall this year, step out to help out in Barnes this October, support our local businesses and charities and be the envy of your friends on this glamorous night.  #BarnesFashion2020
