OVO’s Roman Theatre Open Air Festival– The Roman Theatre of Verulamium St Albans

Prepare for a stellar summer of theatre and music as OVO’s annual Roman Theatre Open Air Festival marks its 10th anniversary. This years festival debuts new collaborations, an exciting premiere of an original British musical, alongside their renowned classics.
The season kicks off with the highly anticipated return of The Merry Wives of Windsor. Followed by a fresh reimagining of Sense and Sensibility, bringing a contemporary twist on one of English literature’s most beloved classics. The season finale will be the thrilling new musical The Highwayman, a funny yet deeply moving tale inspired by Alfred Noye’s classic poem.
YAMATO The Drummers of Japan: The Wings of Phoenix– Peacock Theatre, London

YAMATO: The Drummers of Japan return with their show The Wings of Phoenix, which has a remarkable 30-year history performing in 54 countries.
The globally renowned Japanese taiko drumming group, bring their breath-taking performances to London. Characterised by unparalleled athleticism, energy and passion which resonate with explosive beats. Adrenaline-fuelled and full of vibrant colour, YAMATO will bring the spirit of Japan to the Peacock Theatre in the West End this summer.
The Bleeding Tree– Southwark Playhouse Borough

A daring exploration of women pushed to the edge landmark Australian play The Bleeding Tree will have its premiere at Southwark Playhouse Borough.
This moving yet darkly funny drama follows a mother and her two daughters who, go to extremes to survive. The Bleeding Tree will offer a fascinating exploration of the moral ambiguity around what we do when pushed to the limit.
Three Inch Fools-Fools On Tour

The Three Inch Fools, known for their contemporary spin on the traditional touring troupe are touring the great British outdoors at over 80 different venues across the UK.
These rowdy reimagining’s of historical greats will see the Fools use their fast-paced, physical storytelling-style with uproarious music-making at its heart.
They will premiere a fresh look at one of Britain’s most iconic historical figures, The Secret Diary of Henry VIII. As well as their unique twist to The Comedy of Errors, a tale of long-lost twins, hysterical misunderstandings, and endless mishaps. The tour begins in Eastbury Manor House, Barking on the 26th May.
Lucky Pigeons

Offering a high-flying, high-energy venture for the whole family, beloved circus company Brainfools are adorning their colourful wings and taking Lucky Pigeons on tour.
Using polished contemporary circus skills and irresistible charm, this production tells a surreal fable about the pecking order of urban society. Featuring jaw dropping juggling to dazzling aerialist tricks and lifts!
Museum Late: Spice it Up– Museum of The Home
7th June 2024
Museum of the Home is hosting a special Late, a chance to explore delicious flavours, hear from talented chefs and artists, and experience music and performances.
Co-curated with London-based food & drink writer Melissa Thompson, the evening will take you on an adventure of tantalising flavours and intricate histories from the Africa and the Caribbean. This experience will delve into the stories, triumphs, and tribulations of African and Caribbean communities. Be sure to check this evening out and get inspired by leading chefs, artists, self-made producers and entrepreneurs.
