The Royal Parks have some exciting activities and events coming up this autumn. Take a look at some of the most popular activities and events.
1. Get creative with Write and Shine
Start your day with a burst of creativity at our early morning writing workshops this autumn. Writer Gemma Seltzer will guide you through a range of creative exercises to help you create poems, stories and memoirs. We’ll explore the park with a guided walk and take inspiration from our surroundings and the natural world. Your ticket includes entry to the workshop, coffee, tea, and pastries.

2. Spooky Season: Half Term Fun!
Join us this half-term at our spook-tacular Nature Roadshows and Discovery Days across the Royal Parks. Take part in a host of free Halloween themed activities, from bug hunting and learning about bats to Halloween crafts and spooky storytelling, there is something for everyone.
When: 23 – 26 October

3. Hidden Stories of the Royal Parks
See a new side to the Royal Parks with a guided walking tour. You’ll get an exclusive look at areas normally closed to the public: Hyde Park’s Victorian pet cemetery, behind the railings of the Albert Memorial or Duck Island for the resident pelicans’ daily feeding.

4. Wellbeing Walk in The Regent’s Park
Escape the hustle and bustle and join us on a guided mindfulness walk. You’ll explore the park with experienced ecotherapist Mimi, reconnecting with yourself and with nature.
When: 2 October, 6–7pm

5. Planting day in The Regent’s Park
Get stuck in with a hands-on planting day in The Regent’s Park, planting woodland bulbs including snowdrops, crocuses and bluebells to bring a colourful display to the park in the spring. You’ll also be able to enjoy a free guided walk from our volunteer rangers.
