This Spring, The Hound in Chiswick is excited to announce a partnership with The Kid’s Table, a family-friendly dining experience, offering free, supervised and creative table-top fun for kids aged 3 and up.

Taking place every Saturday from the 22nd March from 11:30am until 3:30pm, The Kid’s Table provides a variety of supervised creative and engaging activities, from arts and crafts to fun tabletop games, ensuring children are happily engaged. This initiative will also give parents the chance to unwind and enjoy some well-deserved ‘me’ time whilst the little ones immerse themselves in creative play.

Since opening its doors, The Hound has quickly become a popular destination in Chiswick, offering the perfect spot for families and food lovers alike. Executive Chef John Sparks has designed a menu celebrating British pub classics with a modern twist. Signature dishes include, Buttermilk Fried Chicken with blue cheese sauce and Bubbledogs Hot Sauce, Black Pudding Scotch Egg and Highland Wagyu Hound Dog, served with Ogleshield cheese, sauerkraut, and charcuterie sauce.

The Hound also offers a Kid’s Menu for young diners to enjoy including Breaded Fish GoujonsChicken Breast with mashed potatoes, tomato sauce and steamed vegetables as well as Macaroni Pastawith tomato ragu and cheddar cheese.

Book as normal via their website, linked HERE  and add a note to your booking requesting The Kid’s Table. The team will look to ensure parents are seated close by the designated kids’ crafts area.

This unique partnership promises to make family dining a more harmonious experience for all.

The Hound

The Hound officially opened its doors in Chiswick in July 2024, following an extensive restoration that pays homage to the building’s storied past.

Housed in the walls of a historic Victorian police station, The Hound comprises a bustling pub floor, an inviting reception room, two private dining rooms, a covered outdoor courtyard and a south-facing front terrace, and is open for lunch, dinner and bar snacks seven days a week. The Hound offers a diverse menu inspired by British pub classics with Two Michelin-starred chefs James Knappett of Kitchen Table in Fitzrovia as Culinary Director and John Sparks as Executive Chef.

The Hound has several areas for group bookings, whether looking for private dining, canapé receptions or family-style feasting. The main private dining room seats up to 18 guests and features an exposed brick ceiling from three combined former prison cells, paying homage to the building’s storied past.

Two wine cellars also housed in former cells sit alongside the room, with original jail bars and prison doors kept in place. The spacious outdoor courtyard is finished with a retractable glass roof so guests can enjoy the outside area all year round.
