On Thursday, 12th June 2025, Lebnani in Reigate will host a unique supper club featuring a collaboration between two cooks: Meliz Berg and Jad Youssef.
Meliz Berg, the Turkish-Cypriot recipe expert and No.1 Sunday Times bestselling author of Meliz’s Kitchen, will join forces with Jad Youssef, founder of London’s acclaimed Yalla Yalla restaurant and now owner head chef at Lebnani. Together, they will present a menu infused with memory, heritage, and bold Mediterranean flavours.
Chef Youssef’s culinary journey began in Beirut, where he was raised in a family passionate about food. He later trained at L’Ecole Hoteliere in Beirut and gained experience in renowned kitchens across Europe and Asia. In 2008, he launched Yalla Yalla in Soho, bringing authentic Lebanese street food to London. In 2018 he opened Lebnani which now hold 1 AA Rosette.
Guests can expect an evening of storytelling, warmth, and dishes inspired by the chefs’ childhoods – food that encourages sharing and conversation.
