Orfeo by arrangement with Chester Music Ltd. Composed by Claudio Monteverdi. English translation by Anne Ridler. John Eliot Gardiner edition.

Our thoughts on the production: āOrfeo is both mythic and humanāemphasising love, artistic expression, and emotional vulnerability. With a rich instrumentation and expressive vocal writing to convey deep feeling, making the opera groundbreaking for its time. The show is both enchanting yet charming and arouses a conflict of emotions. Worth seeing.ā āļøFor more information, visit www.richmondopera.org
