Flowers have a language of their own. They symbolize beauty, elegance, and personality. Just as every flower has its unique charm, so does your personal style.

Have you ever wondered which flower best represents your fashion sense?

Whether you are a classic rose or a trendy sunflower, discover the bloom that mirrors your wardrobe choices and personality!

The Saatchi Gallery’s latest captivating exhibition, “Flowers in Contemporary Art and Culture” showcases the multifaceted ways in which flowers can be interpreted in modern art and their cultural significance. The diverse artistic expressions on display can mesmerise even the most hardened art-goer, as the exhibition features an eclectic mix of mediums, including paintings, sculptures, digital installations. Each unique work offers an authentic perspective on the timeless motif of flowers.

Flowers are everywhere, from birth to death, to decorate and to style. We love flowers because they add meaning to our lives, and transfer a feeling of purpose.

On Valentine’s Day, flowers were gifted to romantic partners, family and friends. During funerals, flower bouquets are given as a sign of condolence, in weddings they represent a symbol of beauty and decoration, and during graduations they’re used as admiration and good luck gifts.

We as humans have a lot in common with flowers. We also charge our energy from natural sources, and we hold an inner power to transform. We grow and get out of our comfort zone and then we bloom, and we change our style many, many times until we feel comfortable in our skin.

‘Flowers – Flora in contemporary Art & Culture’ exhibition reminds us that ‘these natural jewels are not only extraordinary, but they have the capacity to remind us of how special and transformative life is.

Just as flowers vary in color, shape and symbolism, so do our personal styles. Here is a fun breakdown of which flower best represents your fashion sense:

The Classic Rose: Timeless Elegance

Does your style exude timeless elegance and sophistication? Then you might be a classic rose. Your wardrobe is a curated collection of timeless pieces that never go out of style – in particular vintage items acquired from your parent or grandparents, or vintage shops. Just like the rose, you embody elegance and refinement.

The Bold Sunflower: Vibrant and Confident

Are you the life of the party with a wardrobe full of bold, vibrant colors and playful patterns? Then you might be a sunflower! Your confidence and vivacity shine through in everything you wear. You like mini skirts, tank tops and possibly you loved Kate Moss Zara’s capsule collection (and probably you are a Leo).

The Delicate Lily: Graceful and Poised

For those who prefer a more delicate and graceful style, the lily might be your floral counterpart. You appreciate soft fabrics, flowing silhouettes, and subtle details that add a touch of sophistication to your look. Your favorite perfume is ‘La vie est belle’ of Lancome, Paris, and you love long satin dresses with ballerinas.

The Trendy Orchid: Unique and Chic

If you’re always ahead of the fashion curve and love to experiment with unique and chic pieces, you might be an orchid. You enjoy mixing and matching unexpected items, creating looks that are both fashionable and distinctive. We need more like you in the fashion world, a trendsetter, you go crazy and love to mix patterns, floral with stripes, stripes with polka dots – and we love that for you…

The Playful Daisy: Fun and Free-Spirited

Fun, free-spirited, and effortlessly chic style? Then you could be a daisy! You love casual, comfortable pieces that still manage to look put-together. You wear mostly jeans with blazers, and shoulder bags sometimes big to carry your books, makeup, mirror, lip gloss…

The Romantic Peony: Feminine and Romantic

If you have a more feminine and romantic style, the peony is your flower. You gravitate towards lace, florals, and pastel colors that evoke a sense of romance and whimsy. Balance is everything for you: you need a little bit of this a little bit of that but gently, without exaggerations, not like the Orchid.
