With Easter around the corner, we have put together some things to do and events to enjoy with the family for the Easter holidays. Below are various theatre productions suitable for a range of ages.

For the young’uns!

Three Billy Goats Gruff – Polka Theatre, London – suitable for ages 3-7+

29 March – 21 April 2024

Hiccup Theatre, in collaboration with  Derby Theatre  and  Polka Theatre, brings an exciting treat for Easter, featuring beautiful puppetry, fantastic storytelling, a tricksy troll, three Billy Goats Gruff and amazing live music and original songs.

Join our three adventurer billy goats as they dare to cross the bridge to the other side.  The troll is determined this is his land and you need to get off it – but the billy goats have a few thoughts on that!

Wendy & Peter Pan– Watermill Theatre, Newbury – suitable for ages 6+

When the Darling family’s world is rocked, a window opens into a world of opportunities and adventure that may help Wendy find the answers she seeks. Taking a leap of faith, Wendy and her brothers follow Peter Pan to Neverland, where they discover the extraordinary home of the Lost Boys. 

Creating a world of wonder through storytelling, puppetry, and physical theatre The Watermill Youth Ensemble invites you to join them on an unforgettable journey celebrating the enduring power of friendship and the unique parts we play in our own stories.

Paddington in Concert UK Tour – suitable for ages 7+

Tour runs from 30 March – 13 April 2024 all across the UK

Audiences across the UK can enjoy watching the award-winning 2014 film Paddington on a giant HD screen, accompanied by The London Concert Orchestra playing Nick Urata’s calypso-infused score live.

Based on Michael Bond’s much-loved books, cherished by families since 1958, the charming story follows the misadventures of a young bear from Peru who travels to London in search of a home and is taken in by the Brown family, who finds him lost and alone in Paddington Station.Paddington was a beloved award-winning critically acclaimed box office hit on its release in the UK.

Romeo & Juliet – Polka Theatre, London – suitable for ages 9-12+

A remixed tale of star-crossed lovers, enjoy Shakespeare’s most famous story re-told by Beats & Elements, the makers of Pied Piper: A Hip Hop Family Musical

Forced apart by generations of hatred, young eyes meet across a South London dancefloor on a fateful night that will change their lives forever. Shakespeare’s most famous story is re-told through raprhythms, and beautiful harmonies

Bronco Billy – The Musical– Charing Cross Theatre, London – suitable for ages 10+

Bronco Billy – The Musical is a rollicking new musical comedy based on the original Clint Eastwood motion picture. 

It’s 1979 and life is tough for a group of romantic fast-drawing, trick-riding, disco-dancing Wild West roustabouts and their travelling show, but things take an unexpected turn when Bronco Billy (leader of this rag-tag troupe) meets Antoinette Lily, a determined Manhattan heiress on the run for her life. So begins a wild, zany ride in this thrillingly upbeat musical about love, reinvention, family and living your dream. 

The Choir of Man– Arts Theatre, London – suitable for ages 6+

The Olivier Award-nominated international stage sensation The Choir Of Man is now in its second singsational year in the West End’s Arts Theatre.
