The Royal Parks have some exciting new events coming up in March and April, including a brand-new exclusive deep dive into the incredible Albert Memorial and a behind the scenes experience of Hyde Park’s Plant Nursery.
Go behind the railings of the Albert Memorial
In our brand-new exclusive Albert Memorial Under and Over experience you will delve deeper into the history and stories of this incredible monument to Albert, Prince Consort Queen Victoria’s beloved husband.
Enjoy an exclusive experience underneath the Albert Memorial, the under croft, an area seldom opened to the public, learn about the Albert Memorial from outside the railings, what the four corners of the memorial represent and how to interpret the top of the memorial.
Plus, enjoy a close behind the fence experience of the canopy, Prince Albert statue and the Parnassus frieze.

Go behind the scenes of Hyde Park’s Plant Nursery
Join us for our brand-new Hyde Park Nursery Experience.
Enjoy a tour of the Hyde Park plant nursery, learning about its history, the sustainable building and practices that help the team grow over 1,400 varieties of plants, the different ways the plants can be grown here and participate in masterclasses in propagation and seed planting with the Nursery staff.
Plus, enjoy a tasty lunch before creating your own hanging baskets similar to those hung in the Royal Parks to take home.
