As a mum of two under two, I felt overwhelmed and exhausted. It was then, almost ten years ago I began and pledged to explore a more holistic approach to self-care. Searching for information online, I came across a blend which I could make at home using essential oils. It surprisingly helped to relieve the stress I was feeling and the angst that comes along with the witching hour. I was hooked! So much so that I decided to experiment with mixes to relieve stress, sore muscles, colds, sniffles, and they worked every time!

Aromatherapy is a holistic healing treatment that uses natural plant extracts to promote health and well-being. Many of us are already utilising this therapy through inhalation, such as using candles and diffusers, or when applying massage oils. I wanted to harness the healing properties of this therapy and keep the scents close all day without applying oils to the skin. Jewellery is my second passion, so mixing the two was the perfect fusion of style and self-care. This was my way of bringing a beautiful alternative to using and gifting essential oils for wellness and selfcare to others. That’s how OYL’E London was born!

My non-negotiables have always been quality, sustainability and design. This means our LUXE jewellery is made using 100% RECYCLED Sterling Silver. I was firm on sourcing the oils from UK suppliers, who offered transparency of their testing, the use of GC or GC/MS technology**, plus full disclosure of the cultivation and climate (country) the oil was sourced from.

OYL’E, was inspired by our summer travels to Turkey. ÖYLE means ‘So’ in Turkish. They have a long history of producing a diverse range of essential oils and my favourite is the rose oil we  use. It’s produced in Izmir, northern Taurus Mountains.

OYL’E London has now been featured in the International Aromatherapist Magazine, WW Magazine ( Christmas gift special) and showcased at Live Well Events, Bloom Olympia and various other wellness centres throughout London.

I aim to keep the jewellery designs simple, stylish, and functional. Offering a range of essential oil blends to help uplift mood, calm, relax, and bring joy to its wearer.
