Wine lovers have a new reason to head to Soho this summer.
Vagabond Wines is opening the doors to its biggest venue yet, bringing its popular self-pour wine concept to the heart of Carnaby with a brand-new flagship site on Ganton Street.
Officially opening on 18 June, Vagabond Soho promises to be much more than a traditional wine bar. Spread across two floors with an outdoor terrace, the new venue is designed as an immersive destination where guests can discover, taste and compare wines at their own pace.
At the centre of the experience are Vagabond’s signature self-pour machines, allowing visitors to sample more than 120 wines by the glass, the largest wine selection ever offered across the group’s venues. The collection includes bottles from renowned wine regions around the world alongside locally produced wines from Vagabond’s own Urban Winery in Canada Water, recognised as the UK’s largest urban winery.
The concept has become popular for making wine exploration less intimidating and more interactive. Rather than committing to a full bottle, guests can sample different varieties, regions and styles, creating a personalised tasting experience that appeals equally to casual drinkers and serious wine enthusiasts.

The design of the new Soho venue reflects that same spirit of discovery. A dramatic central bar takes inspiration from the shape of a wine barrel, while traditional riddling racks line the staircase as a tribute to classic winemaking techniques. Hidden amongst stainless steel wine tanks, a private dining room offers a more intimate setting for tastings, celebrations and group events.
Alongside the extensive wine list, guests can expect a menu of seasonal small plates and sharing boards designed to complement the various pours.
Whether you’re looking for a leisurely lunch, after-work drinks, a pre-theatre stop, date night destination or simply somewhere to spend a summer evening with friends, Vagabond Soho aims to offer a more relaxed and exploratory approach to wine culture.
To mark the launch, the venue will host a one-day opening celebration on 24 June, offering 50% off all food and drink from noon until midnight. While walk-ins will be welcomed, bookings are expected to fill quickly.
For Londoners who enjoy discovering new wines without the formality often associated with wine tasting, Vagabond Soho may well become one of the season’s most exciting new openings.
