Cutting-Edge Home Security and a complete sun-powered energy system are two of the innovations on offer at the Southern Homebuilding & Renovating Show to take place at Sandown Park, Surrey on the 28th – 29th of June.
SmartSi, experts in home technology, will be introducing SENTINEL, their unique home security system that combines the highest level of protection delivering security, comfort, and complete peace of mind for homeowners, while Eco Energy Environment will be showcasing SOLARWATT Home, the first complete home solution for generating, storing and optimising solar power at this month’s Southern Homebuilding & Renovating Show.
Alasdair Kidd, Design Director at SmartSi, describes SENTINEL as a next-generation home security system designed to adapt to modern living. Typically installed as part of a fully integrated home technology solution, it can also be retrofitted to existing homes, making intelligent protection accessible to a wide range of properties.

Also at next month’s show, Eco Energy Environment will become the first UK company to showcase SOLARWATT Home, a complete home energy management system, at an event in the South East. SOLARWATT Home, manufactured by German solar pioneer, SOLARWATT,provides the first complete package of solar panels, battery storage and energy manager smart technology. The battery allows for the energy from the rooftop solar panels to be stored rather than fed into the national grid, and then the management system can be customised so that homeowners can make use of their stored energy to suit their needs
