This February at London Fashion Week, Naomi Hart presented her Autumn/Winter 2026 collection, The Sovereignty of Stillness, in collaboration with Fashion Scout. The collection offers a thoughtful meditation on presence over performance, encouraging viewers to find calm amidst the constant motion of modern life.

Inspired by movement in nature, the flight of birds, the gentle sway of a hammock, the dip of a willow into water, Hart’s designs explore the dialogue between motion and pause. Through warm earth tones and natural fabrics such as wool, pony-hair, and suede, the collection evokes quiet confidence, guiding the audience toward subtle details rather than demanding immediate attention.

At the heart of The Sovereignty of Stillness are themes of presence, vulnerability, and self-identity. Hart questions the effects of a culture where visibility is constant and curated, offering instead garments that celebrate authenticity and the beauty of stepping back. Each piece reflects a broader commentary on individuality in an era dominated by digital personas, suggesting that stillness can be a source of strength and clarity.

Founded in 2023, Naomi Hart has rapidly distinguished herself as an independent conceptual womenswear brand known for bold artistic expression and an instinctive approach to shape, colour, and fabric. A graduate of the London College of Fashion, Hart’s creative outlook is deeply informed by her upbringing in the British countryside and the artistic environment cultivated by her father.

Hart’s work balances expressive silhouettes with precise construction, with each garment handmade through small-scale production to prioritise quality and longevity. Selected designs are also available to rent, promoting circular fashion and responsible consumption. Through creative pattern cutting and personal references, Hart continues to define a visual language rooted in individuality, modern femininity, and considered utility.
