Fashion Scout reaffirmed its reputation as one of London Fashion Week’s most anticipated fixtures on Sunday evening, presenting the second instalment of its Ones To Watch showcase. Held Sunday 21st September at 8:30 PM, the show spotlighted six emerging international designers whose collections reflected the evolving landscape of contemporary fashion.
Now in its 13th year, Ones To Watch has launched the careers of designers such as Eudon Choi, Phoebe English, Angel Chen and Susan Fang. This season’s line-up introduced Bergman Designs (Finland), La Toile Milan (Italy), Lanna Parell (UK), Nichoir (UK), Nathan Slate (UK) and Yonzu (UK/South Korea) — a diverse roster curated by Fashion Scout’s panel for their creativity, craftsmanship and innovation.
The showcase balanced conceptual artistry with wearable design. Bergman Designs offered a bold departure from Scandinavian minimalism, presenting dramatic layered looks rooted in expressive detail.

La Toile Milan unveiled its Eternal Love collection, exploring the emotional spectrum of love through refined Italian fabrics.

Nichoir, founded by Nicolae-Vladut Radu, explored the subconscious through silhouettes inspired by Rorschach inkblots, blurring the lines between strength and fragility.

British designers also made a strong impression. Nathan Slate, working from his Somerset atelier, fused sustainability with conceptual artistry using rainfall-dyed textiles and ceramic accessories.

Lanna Parell showcased understated sophistication through responsibly sourced wool and timeless tailoring.

Closing the lineup, Yonzu, with bases in London and Seoul, offered sculptural yet fluid pieces that challenged fixed identities with contrasting textures and hybrid forms.

The setting amplified the moment: the audience, packed with editors, buyers, and fashion insiders, responded enthusiastically to the diverse range of visions on display. Collectively, the six designers demonstrated why Ones To Watch has become synonymous with spotting the industry’s next big names.

Fashion Scout, which has championed emerging designers for over two decades across Africa, Europe, and beyond, continues to use Ones To Watch as its flagship platform for directional talent.
