Designer Jeff Garner staged a runway show inside the Tower of London on September 17, presenting his Billy Shakespeare collection alongside the premiere of his new documentary, Let Them Be Naked.

The event marked the first and only fashion show held inside the White Tower. Garner described the show as his final presentation before the film’s release in January 2026.

Let Them Be Naked, executive produced by Suzy Amis Cameron, examines the presence of toxic chemicals in clothing and their links to health risks. The documentary is supported by Gerard Butler, Darin Olien and Charles Annenberg. Garner, who lost his mother to breast cancer, traces the issue from farms and dye houses to research laboratories, advocating for non-toxic alternatives.
The Billy Shakespeare collection drew on motifs from the American West and Victorian England, featuring garments made with plant-based dyes and biodegradable materials. Fabrics were coloured using plants from Garner’s Tennessee farm as well as traditional British techniques.

Garner said the choice of venue carried symbolic meaning, with the Tower’s history and mythological associations with ravens aligning with the themes of protection and renewal in both the collection and the film.
The following day, Lady Bamford hosted a private screening and discussion at Daylesford Organic in Gloucestershire, a farm known for sustainable practices. The full release of Let Them Be Naked is scheduled for January 2026. Garner is also developing a line of hemp-based intimate apparel to introduce consumers to toxin-free options.
