Fulham Pier, London’s newest riverside destination, has unveiled two contrasting New Year’s Eve events, offering both a family-focused daytime celebration and an evening fine-dining experience overlooking the Thames.

The programme, taking place on 31 December, reflects the venue’s wider ambition to position itself as a multi-use cultural and hospitality hub in west London, catering to a broad audience rather than a single late-night crowd.

Earlier in the day, Fulham Pier will host the Snow Ball Family Rave, an early New Year’s celebration designed for families with young children. Running from 1pm to 3pm, the event marks the first time the Glastonbury-famous Big Fish Little Fish rave concept will be staged at the riverside site.

Held in Fulham Pier’s basement club space, the rave will feature DJ-led music, professional sound and lighting, and a range of interactive elements including bubbles, glitter cannons and craft stations. While aimed primarily at children, the event will also include a licensed bar for adults. The concept allows families to celebrate “midnight” during the afternoon, avoiding late-night travel and crowds.

Visitors attending the daytime event will also have access to Fulham Pier’s wider food and drink offering. The Riverside Market on the ground floor serves casual dishes such as burgers, pizza and butter chicken, alongside cocktails, while the venue’s restaurant and bars provide additional options before or after the rave.

Tickets for the Snow Ball Family Rave are priced at £10 for children and £15 for adults.

Later in the evening, Brasserie Constance, Fulham Pier’s flagship restaurant, will host a New Year’s Eve dinner service from 5:30 pm to 9 pm. The restaurant will offer a five-course menu accompanied by a welcome drink and live music, with panoramic views across the River Thames.

Brasserie Constance is the latest restaurant from Michelin-starred chef Adam Byatt and brings a modern interpretation of British brasserie dining to the riverside development. The restaurant is inspired by seasonal British ingredients and familiar flavours, presented in a relaxed but refined setting.

The restaurant takes its name from Constance Spry, the influential mid-20th-century florist and chef who helped redefine British entertaining. Her legacy is referenced throughout the menu and interiors, including dishes such as Coronation Chicken Pâté en Croûte, a nod to Spry’s role in creating the original Coronation Chicken.

“Constance Spry’s philosophy of creativity and comfort sits at the heart of everything we do,” Byatt said. “We’ve aimed to create a place where guests can feel completely at home while enjoying food that celebrates the seasons,” he added.

Brasserie Constance forms part of Byatt’s wider London portfolio, which includes Michelin-starred Trinity, Bistro Union and Charlie’s at Brown’s Hotel. The kitchen is led day-to-day by Head Chef Charlie Crote, whose background includes The Ritz and Patrick Powell’s Allegra and Midland Grand Dining Room.

The menu focuses on modern British cooking with regular seasonal updates. Starters include dishes such as potted duck with damson and London smoked salmon served tableside, while sharing mains and daily specials draw on nostalgic British comfort food. Desserts include a tableside Baked Alaska, trifle of the day and chocolate ale cake with malted milk ice cream.

Alongside the restaurant, the adjoining cocktail bar Flo offers botanically inspired cocktails and small plates, with floor-to-ceiling views across the Thames.

The interiors of Brasserie Constance were designed by Lazaro Rosa-Violán and feature bespoke ceramics created in collaboration with seven ceramicists, six of whom are women. Seasonal wildflowers, hand-painted ceiling panels and textile elements reference both the riverside location and Fulham’s craft heritage.

The New Year’s Eve dinner at Brasserie Constance is priced at £95 per person.

Fulham Pier spans seven levels between Hammersmith and Putney Bridge and includes Riverside Market, performance and events spaces, a boutique hotel, and a members’ club. A destination spa is scheduled to open in 2026.

Together, the two New Year’s Eve events highlight a growing shift in how London venues approach the end-of-year celebrations, offering structured, experience-led alternatives that cater to families and diners seeking something beyond traditional late-night parties.
