A Gatsby-Inspired Celebration in Partnership with Mumm Champagne

This summer, Brasserie of Light transforms into a world of 1920s glamour and golden-age indulgence with A Roaring Summer, a dazzling seasonal celebration inspired by the iconic spirit of The Great Gatsby.

Running from 8th July – 3rd September, Brasserie of Light brings together an indulgent set menu, exclusive cocktails and vibrant live entertainment every Friday, all within the restaurant’s stunning surroundings.

Guests can dine like Gatsby, with the Roaring Set Menu available Monday to Friday for lunch and dinner. The menu is priced at £24.95 for two courses or £29.95 for three, with elevated dishes including Bang Bang Chicken Salad with cashew nuts and chilli sauce, a refreshing Shaved Vegetable Salad with avocado hummus, and a vibrant Rosary Goat’s Cheese Mousse with smoked aubergine and edible flowers.

For the main course, highlights include a fragrant Malaysian Prawn Curry with vermicelli and coconut rice, succulent Cumin and Oregano Chicken with hummus, pomegranate and fennel, and a plant-based Harissa and Pomegranate Aubergine, served with wild rice, coconut yoghurt and lime.

Desserts deliver the perfect finale, with options such as the indulgent Chocolate Bubbles, a tropical Summer Blossom coconut and passion fruit mousse, or a variety of seasonal ice creams and sorbets.

In partnership with Mumm Champagne, Brasserie of Light presents a limited-edition Champagne and cocktail menu inspired by Prohibition-era classics, reimagined with a modern twist. This glamorous collection brings the spirit of the 1920s to life, with standout creations such as the Gatsby Sbagliato featuring Mumm Cordon Rouge, sweet vermouth and bitter rosso, and the Fitzgerald Fizz, a lively mix of Mumm Le Rosé Champagne, Ki No Bi Gin, lemon, coconut and pineapple (Champagne cocktails at £16 each).

Guests can also enjoy signature cocktails including Daisy’s Dream, a delicate blend of gin, lemon, chamomile and honey, the Old Sport Spritz with Italicus, citrus, apricot liqueur and grape soda, and the sophistication of the Pearl Paloma, crafted with mezcal, agave, lime and grapefruit soda (Cocktails at £15 each). With G.H. Mumm Cordon Rouge Brut Champagne (£19) and G.H. Mumm Le Rosé Champagne (£20.75) also available by the glass, this indulgent drinks offering adds a sparkling touch to A Roaring Summer.

Fridays at Brasserie of Light will come alive with Roaring Nights, a weekly celebration of live saxophonists, vocalists and DJs. On Wednesday 27th August, the restaurant will host an exclusive one- night-only soirée, featuring a live jazz band, spectacular 20s dancers, a DJ, and immersive Gatsby-era décor, throughout the evening.

For £39.95, guests attending the event can enjoy three courses from the Roaring Set Menu and a cocktail of their choice.Located within the historic walls of Selfridges, Brasserie of Light offers a uniquely elegant and contemporary dining experience.
