An elegant week-long dining experience inspired by the Festival of Lights

With Diwali approaching, Kahani, the acclaimed Indian restaurant by Chef Peter Joseph (formerly Head Chef at Michelin-starred Tamarind), invites guests to celebrate the Festival of Lights with a special four-course menu available from Monday 20 – Sunday 26 October.

Known for his refined take on Indian cuisine paired with the best of seasonal British ingredients, Chef Joseph has curated a menu that reflects the joy, colour, and generosity of Diwali.

Highlights from the non-vegetarian menu (ÂŁ65) include:

  • Achaari Chicken Tikka with turmeric and pickling spices
  • Kerala Fish Curry with coconut and green chilli
  • Culcutta Lobster Masala-Utthapam

The vegetarian menu (ÂŁ60) offers equally indulgent dishes, such as:

  • Hara Bara Kebab with spiced potato and mango powder
  • Grilled Paneer Tikka
  • Spiced jackfruit & mutter masala

Both menus include servings of Morels Biryani, Peshawari Naan, and Yellow Dal Tadka. They also end on a sweet note with a selection of traditional Indian Diwali sweets and handmade Kulfis.

Just a short stroll from Sloane Square, Kahani is tucked discreetly behind a green door on Wilbraham Place. Its warm, contemporary interiors and inviting, below-street-level dining room create the perfect backdrop for celebrating Diwali with friends, family, or colleagues.
